"Former Redskins Pro Bowler eyes potential comeback" - CSN MidAtlantic
July 21, 2015

This is the one and only article I wrote that really took off. Working for CSN Mid-Atlantic during the summer in the digital media department, Chris Cooley (a retired tight end for the Washington Redskins) discussed earlier in the day on his radio show a potential return to football. I wrote up a quick article regarding his comments, mostly comprised of quotes, and it for some reason took off. It ended up reaching over 400,000 people on Facebook, giving me the feeling for the first time of a mass amount of people actually reading something that had my name on it. I was an awesome feeling, and one I’ll definitely always remember.

"OPINION: How Maryland football can rise to national prominence" - CSN MidAtlantic
July 14, 2015

I would call this the first "investigative" piece of journalism that I ever created. Being a fan of college football recruiting, I thought it would be interesting to examine Maryland's last few recruiting cycles and analyze how it could improve. The DMV area is very rich in talent, so I clearly showed the program needs to do a much better job of recruiting its own backyard if it wants to ever contend for a Big Ten title.

"How 2015 Michigan could resemble the 2011 49ers"
- TheWolverine.com
August 25, 2015

This is probably my favorite journalism piece I’ve ever produced. It makes the argument that the situation with the 2015 Michigan football team Jim Harbaugh was walking into was not too different than his 2011 situation with the San Francisco 49ers. It was my first published article with TheWolverine.com, and something I truly believed, which in the end produced an article I am very proud of.

"INSTANT RECAP:
Maryland 86, Michigan 82"
- TheWolverine.com

With the primary Michigan basketball beat writer away for the weekend, I gained the opportunity to write my first "game story" for the website. It was an absolutely hectic experience writing a game story for the first time, typing fanatically as I watched the game on TV from my apartment. It ended up being an important experience for me, as I realized the life of a full-time sports journalist may not have been for me. It was influential in my decision-making process, where I opted to pursue a carrer in sports business, as opposed to journalism.
